Making Games
With Rough Science
Making Games is a day-long workshop (Wednesday 12 April 2017) encouraging students to make their own digital games using the platform Stencyl. During the workshop, students will learn the basics of:
o Designing games;
o Sourcing and making art for games; and
o Basic coding for games.
The Workshop
The workshop goes for one day, and will cover an introduction to Stencyl platform, as well as game design and art making.
This event is for beginners. Little to no experience is required.
Intended for participants 10 to year 14 years old.
About Rough Science
Rough Science is a science communication and outreach company based in Melbourne and Edinburgh. Since 2011, Rough Science has produced video content, stage shows, holiday programs and class activities on a variety of themes in science.
The Venue
Rough Science acknowledges the support of Mazenod College. Venue for this workshop is the Founders Complex at Mazenod College, 5 Kernot Ave, Mulgrave VIC 3170, Australia.
